Phantom

I love dogs, or you could say I AM A DOG LOVER.
Although I have tamed more than 15 dogs since my childhood, but sadly I don't own any of them.
Pets are said to be best friends, but according to me the BESTEST of them are the dogs.
The last do I owned was a Labrador named Scrappy.
I amuse at the fact that contradicts " Money can't buy you love "
But " Money can buy you dogs"
“When an eighty-five pound mammal licks your tears away, then tries to sit on your lap, it’s hard to feel sad.”

My friend Deepak was shooting pictures of his pet dog Phantom, while I photoshopped one of his pictures as a surreal image.
MY WORK: Phantom with his playful planet

I don't have much words for this post. It's again on the surreal theme, where the joker has been visualising the circus in her mind, without any boundaries in the universe. So, yeah! Thats all this post is all about

SURREAL SHIP

The other day i was browsing through the net and saw a beautiful hand done piece by some artist showing surrealism. All i wanted to do next was, create the piece in photoshop, as to how will it look with the real subjects! I was attracted to the depth of the painting, also to the unique idea.
MY WORK: THE SURREAL SHIP
Also i would like to share the inspiration of the unknown artist which inspired me to make the piece

BATMAN VS SUPERMAN

I have always been in a confusion, which one is my favourite.
Right from my childhood, I never could make up my mind for one of these.
Today I was just scribbling on my notepad, and drew an outline, and thought of to colour further as well.
From my side its an end to the argument: BATMAN OR SUPERMAN.
For me both are my heroes. <3
MY WORK: BATMAN AND SUPERMAN
Try the scribble
Medium used: colour pencils.

SKETCHING

Sketching is generally a rapid executed freehand drawing.
Sketches can be drawn in any medium. Usually drawn in silverpoint, graphite, pencil, charcoal or pastels.
I have few sketches of human features, i recently drew them. Mostly human eyes are going to be the main attraction of this post.
As with the experience, main point to improve your sketching is by increasing the observation power.
The more you observe, the more detailed work you do.
here is a short see-through of the human features sketches(eyes in this post)
MY WORK: Human eyes. The one on top is a female feature and the one above is male feature.(hope you distinguished)

MY WORK: Just a close up of an eye.

MY WORK: The side view of an eye while its open wide and while blinking.

MY WORK: A view of composition of features.
I have used normal 2B STAEDTLER drawing pencil as my medium. You can use 6B or 8B or charcoal into the sketch for providing more depth in the deeper areas.

TIGER

HERE IS MY TIGER.

So as tiger is the national animal of my country, as well i somehow find this creature really interesting. When i was giving my final board exam for grade 12th ,one of my friend asked me to make an animal for the upcoming concert back then of Martin Garixx for his song Animals.
Back then in 12th, while preparing for the english exam, there was a poem AUNT JENNIFER'S TIGERS, that poem touched my heart,
(poem being about aunt Jennifer who was married and her husband was a male chauvinist, where she couldn't even portray her thoughts as she was so scared of him, so she started embroidering tigers from the ivory needle, thinking if she isn't free for her views in real, she portrayed them through her needle).
So i decided to take inspiration from that poem and made a tiger.
MY WORK: The Tiger, showing the darker side of me :P

INSPIRATIONAL DESIGN

Inspiration refers to an unconscious burst of creativity in a literary, musical, or other artistic endeavour.

We take inspiration from our elders, celebrities and so on. But in art the term inspiration slightly changes, as in art inspiration further means to design something in a manner or present it the the reference to the latter.
I have done many of inspirational designs. But in this post I will first share just a basic artwork to show how inspiration can be moulded by just not limiting to products but onto anything, for instance in this post my inspiration is onto calligraphy and my inspiration is vegetable.
MY WORK: In this inspirational artwork, I simply tried to illustrate my name taking inspiration from the vegetables.

DOODLING

doodle is a drawing made while a person's attention is otherwise occupied. Doodles are simple drawings that can have concrete representational meaning or may just be abstract shapes.

You all must have been doodling in school notebooks, often in the margins, or daydreaming while no interest in the boring classes. Girls must have doodled something or the other while conversation with their best friends on telephone[I doodle a lot with my best friend Radhika on call!].

DID YOU KNOW? According to a study, doodling can aid a person's memory by expanding just enough energy to keep one daydreaming, which demands a lot of processing power, as well as from not paying attention. So I guess we don't need almonds anymore[ yippee! i hate them].

Here is a doodle sheet I made on an A3 size sheet![ damn on A3 it took me ages to doodle this much].
Hope you all  like it.
MY WORK: my doodle!
HAPPY DOODLING!

PEACOCK MASK.

Peacock Carnival Mask

Masks have always been an important feature of the Venetian carnival. Traditionally people were allowed to wear them between the festival of Santo Stefano (St. Stephen's Day, December 26) and the start of the carnival season at midnight of Shrove Tuesday.

The original masks were rather simple in design, decoration, and often had a symbolic and practical function. Nowadays, most Italian masks are made with the application of gesso and gold leaf and are hand-painted using natural feathers and gems to decorate.

MY WORK: Peacock mask depicting my personality.
When I was asked to make mask, depicting my personality, I made a mask, with black base, and golden leaf kind paint work over it. Yes, being peacock obsessed it has to have a peacock which I drew on the left side as for my peacock love and a musical symbol over the right side of the mask, with the red beautiful fluffier lips and lots of gold tint into it, making it classy.

CUBISM

Cubism is an early 20th century avant-grade art movement that revolutionised European paintings and sculptures, and inspired related movements in music, literature and architecture.

In cubism artwork, objects are analysed, broken up and reassembled in an abstract form- instead of depicting objects from one viewpoint, the artist depicts the subject from a multitude of viewpoints to represent the subject in a greater context.

MY WORK: Cubism art work I tried, THE SUPERMAN CUBISM.
